A live season brings a recurring operating commitment to a streaming destination. Samsung TV Plus’ MotoAmerica announcement gives FAST businesses a concrete example of programming that needs a calendar as well as a catalogue entry.
Samsung’s 2026 NewFront recap describes Samsung TV Plus as the exclusive FAST destination for MotoAmerica’s 2026–2027 live race seasons, covering more than 100 races. This is the stated FAST arrangement; it should not be expanded into an unsupported claim about every form of rights in every territory.
Build the service plan around recurring events
A channel carrying a season needs a clear record of the event schedule and the people responsible for confirming changes. A live programme cannot be managed in exactly the same way as a completed episode waiting in a library.
A hypothetical entertainment service should connect the commercial calendar with the production and distribution teams. That lets a changed event time reach the people responsible for the audience-facing information and the actual transmission.
Define the material around the live feed
The operation should identify which supporting assets are required and when they are delivered. Programme descriptions, promotional material and the handling of any later version need their own agreed process.
The plan should distinguish what is included in the particular arrangement from what remains a separate enquiry. A live-rights headline does not settle every subsequent use of the material.
Review the whole season
A recurring series of events gives the teams several opportunities to learn. The review should preserve individual event results while identifying issues that recur across the season.
The MotoAmerica example shows why live programming can broaden a FAST proposition while increasing the importance of coordinated operations. For entertainment businesses, the commercial case should be assessed alongside the work required to deliver each scheduled moment reliably.
