A screen brand becomes a different product when the audience can visit it. Netflix House places that distinction inside a physical venue, where discovery, food, retail and individual experiences form a customer journey separate from watching a series at home.
Netflix’s February 2026 Tudum explanation identifies open locations at Galleria Dallas and King of Prussia, the latter branded Philadelphia. It says entry and exploration are free, while describing additional experiences and Netflix Bites. Free entry should not be interpreted as a claim that every activity or purchase inside the venue is free.
Define the visit as its own product
An entertainment company considering a physical extension should explain why a fan would visit and what the experience offers beyond recognition of the title. A familiar brand can open the conversation, but the venue still needs an intelligible proposition.
A hypothetical visitor journey should identify what happens at arrival, which choices the visitor makes and which activities require another decision. That gives the operating team a concrete experience to review.
Bring operating expertise into the creative plan
A venue has recurring requirements that differ from a screen release. The teams should establish who owns the customer-facing information, the daily operation and the handling of a problem during a visit.
The commercial plan needs the same clarity. A proposed extension should distinguish the brand relationship from the responsibilities involved in producing and operating the experience.
Measure the physical business on its own evidence
Series popularity does not establish the result of a venue. A review should use the relevant evidence about the visit and the business, while keeping any broader brand effect labelled as a separate question.
Netflix House is useful as an example of screen intellectual property becoming a physical destination. For B2B readers, the practical lesson is to evaluate that destination as a product with its own customer journey, resources and operating decisions.
