A streaming bundle is a commercial arrangement as well as a consumer offer. MBC Group’s annual reporting describes one way a platform can structure access to additional programming without treating every partnership as a conventional upfront content purchase.
In its 2025 annual-report operational highlights, MBC describes a multi-year bundled partnership involving Disney+ and OSN+, using a revenue-share model for first-run Western content rather than high upfront licensing fees. That is the company’s description of the structure; the disclosure does not provide enough detail to calculate the economics of an individual agreement.
Ask what the parties are sharing
A business evaluating a bundle needs a clear account of the commercial basis, the responsibilities of each participant and the information used to explain the result. The label “revenue share” alone does not answer those questions.
A hypothetical regional platform can request a worked explanation of the proposed arrangement using clearly stated assumptions. That makes the discussion concrete without presenting the example as a forecast or an undisclosed contract term.
Connect the customer journey with the operating agreement
The parties should understand how the customer accesses the offer and which team handles a problem. A compelling content proposition can still create avoidable support work if responsibility is unclear at the handoff.
The operating review should therefore include the people maintaining the service relationship, not only the commercial teams negotiating the headline terms.
Evaluate the result over the relevant period
A bundle should be assessed using the evidence available about its own customers, costs and retained revenue. A broad company claim about value or retention is not a substitute for the particular reporting needed by a prospective partner.
MBC’s disclosure is useful because it identifies the structure behind the partnership. For global entertainment businesses, it prompts a practical comparison of how different routes to content access affect the complete operating model.
