A production team can encounter several generative-video suppliers through one creative application. That convenience makes the choice of model a useful part of the production record.
Adobe’s April 2026 video announcement added Kling 3.0 and Kling 3.0 Omni to Firefly’s multi-model offering. These are distinct model options presented inside a wider application. Their availability does not establish identical terms, capabilities or suitability for every production use.
Choose the output the project needs
A video production scope of work should define the intended purpose of generated material. A rough concept, an internal storyboard and an audience-facing deliverable can require different review.
A hypothetical agency exploring a scene idea should label the output’s status clearly. A useful concept image can otherwise travel into a presentation where another person mistakenly treats it as an approved final asset.
Record the relevant production choices
The team should retain enough information to understand how a reviewed output was produced and which decisions were made about it. The record can identify the model, the source material supplied and the person responsible for the next review.
That information helps a producer investigate a later question without relying on the memory of the person who first generated the clip. It also gives commercial and technical reviewers a concrete object to assess.
Evaluate the full task
A useful comparison includes preparation, generation, selection, editing and checking. The quickest first result is not necessarily the option that completes the project’s actual requirement with the least work.
Teams should use material appropriate for the evaluation and resolve supplier or permission questions through the relevant specialist process. A product announcement is not a substitute for that review.
Adobe’s multi-model offering illustrates a broader procurement challenge: more choice can be valuable when a production knows what it is testing and how it will judge the result. The operating brief makes that choice assessable.
